Road to Reality

Imagine living your life with the clear knowledge that it had no meaning. Think that through. Whether you chose to help your friend – or to kill him – ultimately it would not matter. A life lived like that – without meaning – would be a grim existence.

Some people claim they believe there is no meaning to life, many others will believe that there is but in reality most of us go from day to day doing the “what” with little or no concern for the “why”. We live for the weekend, that elusive job promotion, the dream house or the ideal partner. When the question does cross our mind most of us settle on the idea that there must be a meaning to life – but thinking that way tends to get in the way of the more immediate, more simple pleasures we live for, so we try hard to distract ourselves.

But what if there is a meaning, a reality that many of us are simply oblivious to? What if the things we are presently chasing after are just blinding us to a reality that if we grasped it would turn our world upside down?
