About the Author:
Writer/historian Kevin Belmonte resides in the seaside village of York, Maine (U.S.A.)—his birthplace. His is a literary family, of British descent, including the poets Robert Frost and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. He was the principal historical consultant for Amazing Grace, a feature film on the life of Wilberforce produced by Walden Media. He has served as a script consultant for the BBC, and his book, Hero for Humanity: A Biography of William Wilberforce, is the winner of the John Pollock Award for Christian Biography. He is married to Kelly and have a son, Samuel.
