A Year in China

A true story of faith in action in a Chinese university.  Jon has arrived in China to teach English for one year and this book tells of his struggles to settle into an unfamiliar culture where he is rendered illiterate and unable to communicate.  His students range from poor children of peasant farmers to the rich offspring of China’s elite and Communist Party officials.  As we see Jon putting his faith into action; living his everyday life relying on God for money, accommodation, safety, and friendships we see the Chinese students slowly beginning to understand God’s truth and trying to apply their faith to tough situations.
